\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAfter the operation, painkillers (e.g. Cataflam, Advil Ultra Forte) may be necessary. In some cases, antibiotics (e.g. Dalacin) may be recommended. For certain conditions (e.g. heart disease), antibiotics should be started before the operation! You should not eat anything while the painkillers are working. Dairy products (milk, cheese, kefir, yoghurt) should not be consumed for a week after the operation. Stitches will be removed one week after surgery. Brush your teeth on the day of surgery! It is recommended to use an antiseptic mouth rinse (e.g. Chlorhexamed, Corsodyl) 2 times a day. Sometimes a suture may fall out on its own during the healing process, but this is not a problem. Complete ossification of the tooth site takes several weeks after the sutures have been removed.
